Snake: Naomi! I think Psycho Mantis is still alive, because someone is SERIOUSLY messing with my head!

Naomi: Get a hold of yourself, Snake! I don’t see anything unusual on my cerebral monitors. What’s wrong?

Snake: It’s the middle of the night, but…It’s light as day in here. How is that possible?! This HAS to be an illusion!

Otacon: Snake, that isn’t natural light from the sun – it’s synthetic light from fluorescent light tubes in the ceiling, powered by electricity. Electricity was discovered by Benjamin Franklin in the 18th century.

Snake: You mean these tubes can make it look like it’s day time when it’s actually night?! No…No, I can’t believe that. This is too much for me.

Miller: Snake, remember not to stare into the light for too long, because it can damage your eyes. You can even go blind if you’re not careful! If you really need to look at a light, get some sunglasses, like mine – they’re safe AND stylish.

Snake: Thanks for the advice, Master. I’m not really sure what’s going on but I’ll try my best.
